Mr. Pauls manages Naviasys’ worldwide finance organization with responsibility for accounting, strategic planning and analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations, and audit. Prior to joining Naviasys, Pauls was Chief Financial Officer for a subsidiary of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and held senior management positions for Zaanstad Consulting Services Corp., responsible for financial planning and analysis, treasury, corporate development, accounting, tax, purchasing, and investor relations. In his 15 years at KLM, Pauls held a variety of senior management positions in finance and operations. He also led, on behalf of KLM, the negotiation of multi-billion dollar acquisition transactions and the associated financing. In his corporate development role, he led the effort to evaluate options for enhancing shareholder value which culminated in the initial public offering and eventual spin-off of the Haarlem Group. Prior to joining KLM, Pauls spent seven years as a division director and management consultant at Utrecht Consulting, now known as Keane, in Europe and the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam and a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
